Maeroa Intermediate School
You belong. You belong here, no matter who you are, where you come from, what language you speak, or what traditions you follow, or where your clothes were purchased. There's nothing about you that isn't accepted in this classroom.
This is the first rule in our classroom: You belong...

2014...Oh the places you'll go!
Hi all, hope you are all getting excited about school starting soon!
This term we will be looking at the Dr Seuss Book, "Oh the places you'll go" as part of our work around goal setting and self development.
Our other main theme is "Thinking like a Scientist". This will be something we keep in the forefront of our learning as we explore the topic via our reading writing and science programme.
At the end of March, the Science Roadshow are going to be hosted at our school and on the 2nd April we are having our Science Open Night. Please keep these dates in mind as it would be lovely to see you at the open night!
For the Science Roadshow, $7 is to be paid to the office (Named envelope with Room number) Maeroa Intermediate is part of the Roadshow and more information can be found by visiting the website at: http://www.roadshow.org/content/scienceRoadshow/2014programme.php
A really good explanation of the Koru system for new parents to our school can be found here:

See you all on the 3rd of Feb.
