Congratulations Bhaven!

You guys!

A static image study....

This week we have been using our critical thinking skills to apply H.O.T. Strategies to a task we were given.

This task leads on from our book reports on the Short and incredibly happy life of Riley. We had to think about how we might tell the main point of the book visually.

Here are some of our ideas.

How cute is this!

Thanks guys for the lovely cake and gifts today! Will def be sending you Carambars!

Flags of Nepal, Service Learning

Hi everyone in Room 4, D.L.U., Maeroa Intermediate!

I would like to thank you for the fantastic effort you put into raising money for our Global Concern.

The money you raised contributed to many projects during our recent trip to the learning centre, particularly the sound garden we built while there and musical instruments we purchased in Nepal.  As you can see from the images attached, both were a big hit with all members of the community!

Once again,  thank you very much for your generous support of our GC and the Don Smith Learning Centre/community of Kattike, Nagarkot, Nepal.

Have a wonderful year in Room 4!
Many thanks,

Julie Collins and Flags of Nepal!
