This week...fungi

This week our focus has been on looking at Fungi and it's purpose. The boys decided to show me what they had learnt after a discussion on asexual reproduction and the life cycle of fungi. Well done Rohan, Kaden, Sven, Connor and Bhaven.

Oh dear...the NOISE!

Today we started our Rakau focus! Oh dear, a little work to do on coordination I think! We had lots and lots of fun and continued to develop skills in working together as a team.

Learning to sew

Last term we discovered that many of the students have lots of koru to sew on! 

Most of the class don't exactly know how to do this task by themselves. So one quick lesson later, Mrs J decided to take a special sewing group to teach this dying skill!
